Three generations, one family business
At Piper Windows we are a family run, locally established business that has been providing high quality products and outstanding customer service since 1983.
We put our customers first, and most of our work comes from recommendations and repeat business. After four decades that is the part we are proudest of, because it is the only measure of a glazing firm that cannot be bought.

- 1983John Radford establishes Piper Windows in Winthorpe, Skegness, supplying and installing PVCu windows and doors across the Lincolnshire coast. His son Steve joins him soon after, and the two work alongside each other for the next nineteen years.
- 2002John retires, and Steve takes the business on with his wife Dawn, keeping the same approach and the same name over the door.
- TodaySteve and Dawn's daughter Ellie is working and learning in the business alongside them, making Piper Windows a third generation family firm, still on the same premises on Church Lane.
- FENSA registered, so every window and door we fit is certified to building regulations.

Who you deal with
The family behind the business
Steve Radford
Owner
Steve joined his father John in the business soon after it opened in 1983 and worked alongside him for nineteen years, taking it on when John retired in 2002. He has been fitting windows and doors on this coast for the whole of that time.
Dawn Radford
Owner
Dawn took the business on with her husband Steve in 2002 and has run it with him ever since, through the move to a third generation with their daughter Ellie now working alongside them.

Because we are registered, we can self-certify that your installation meets building regulations and register it with your local authority on your behalf, so your certificate follows in the post without you arranging building control yourself.
